Volunteer Program Mission…
Working hand-in-hand with North County Lifeline’s overall mission of building self-reliance among youth, individuals and families through problem solving, skill-building and accessible community-based services, the Volunteer Program’s mission is…
To offer interested and qualified individuals the opportunity to be part of North County Lifeline’s community services through placement in supporting volunteer roles that best utilize their skills and support the agency’s services.
Philosophy…
At Lifeline, we believe that volunteering is an excellent way to utilize current expertise, build new skills, interact with the community, and make a difference. Lifeline provides a wealth of opportunity for community members to be involved in the ongoing services of the agency. We value the reciprocity of on-the-job training and service learning, and encourage volunteers to ask questions and observe as much as possible. Schedules and commitments are flexible. Lifeline's fun, friendly staff will make your volunteering experience a pleasure.
We are dedicated to placing volunteers in positions that best suit their interests, skills and availibility. Whether it’s providing clerical support to our fiscal team or playing soccer with our after school youth, your experience as a volunteer should be rewarding. It’s good for the agency! It’s good for the volunteer!
