Oceanside After School Programs

Funded by the City of Oceanside, Lifeline offers after school programs at the Crown Heights Resource Center and San Luis Rey Resource Centers in Oceanside, CA. These programs incorporate homework assistance, life skills education (incluing alcohol, tobacco, and other drug preventions) as well as recreation and enrichment activities that youth enjoy. The program operates Monday through Friday afterschool until 5:30 p.m.

The programs at Crown Heights and San Luis Rey Resource Centers are free of charge to youth who attend.

Teen Involvement Program

In collaboration with the City of Oceanside, Lifeline runs a Teen Leadership and Development Program at the San Luis Rey Valley Resource Center, located at 521 Vandegrift Blvd. in Oceanside. This drop-in program is free of charge to neighborhood teens. The program incorporates community service, field trips, life skills education, access to computers, and leadership development. The program helps teens to resist the pressures of gangs and drugs and to pursue their dreams through higher education.
