40-hour Mediation Certification Program: Dispute Resolution Training This 40-hour certification training satisfies requirements of the State of California Dispute Resolution Program Act (DRPA). Continuing education credits (CEU's) are offered for attorneys and mental health professionals completing the Mediation Training. Topics covered include:

8-hour Peer Mediation Skills Training Conflict resolution training is available to elementary, middle, and high schools in the North San Diego County area offering staff and students the opportunity to learn new skills. The training takes place over two days and provides peer mediators with a basic level of competency in conducting a five step mediation process in addition to the necessary communication and facilitation skills. Topics covered include:
Peer mediation teaches students how to help their fellow classmates resolve conflict successfully and peacefully. The mediation process is cooperative, voluntary, and provides students with a safe environment in which they can air grievances, clear up misunderstandings, and look at new ways to resolve conflict. The conflict resolution process teaches students lifelong skills. Peer mediators, students, and school staff become part of a school community dedicated to effective, peaceful conflict resolution.
