At North Country Lifeline we give youth and families the tools they need to solve their own problems and become self-reliant. We couldn't do that without the partnering with organizations like yours. Please consider joining us at any of the upcoming or regularly scheduled group volunteer opportunities. Depending on the project or event, we can accommodate small groups of 4 or as large as 20. We work with church groups, student groups, corporate groups, and families. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for inquiries.
UPCOMING OPPORTUNITIES & EVENTS
STEM Days at La Casita: 1st Friday of every month
La Casita is set up as an early intervention program for at-risk youth and provides services for (on average) 30 children ages 6 to 12 on a daily basis. The site is a safe space for children to go to when released from school. On the first Friday of the month we have pre-planned, scheduled STEM related activities and labs perfect for curious minded volunteers to do with the kids. We provide the instructions and supplies; you provide the creativity and guidance! This project is best suited for small volunteer groups to sponsor together. 8 to15 volunteers needed. Location: Oceanside, CA. EMAIL the Volunteer Program to sign up your group for the next STEM Day or for a future date.
Annual Back to School Drive, Donation Sorting and Distribution: Monday, August 8th (12pm-3pm) and Tuesday, August 9th (10am-12pm, 1pm-3pm)
For many students from low-income families, having the necessary supplies at the beginning of the school year helps to remove barriers to learning. Lifeline’s annual Back to School drive collects over 500 backpacks filled with school supplies to distribute to clients across all programs. Volunteers are needed to sort, organize, fill, and distribute the backpacks to program staff, who will then coordinate delivery and pick up from youth and families. Sign up with a friend, this project is best suited for individual or small groups to attend. 2-4 volunteers needed. Location: Oceanside, CA.EMAILthe Volunteer Program for more information, or sign up directly on GALAXYDIGITAL.

Lifeline staff is getting ready to do some much-needed back to school cleaning at La Casita! This time that is set aside specifically to organize and clean out the homework room, supply rooms, closets, playground, and anything can accumulate clutter and dirt! We are looking for a group of volunteers that will also help us rebuild and organize our storage unit onsite, which burned down during a recent fire. 15-30 volunteers needed. Location: Oceanside, CA.
